Femoral Triangle Contents
Lateral to Medial: NAVEL
• N — Femoral Nerve
• A — Femoral Artery
• V — Femoral Vein
• E — Empty space (lymphatics)
• L — Lymph nodes
Boundaries:
• Superior — inguinal ligament
• Lateral — sartorius
• Medial — adductor longus
• Floor — iliopsoas + pectineus
Clinical: site for femoral artery puncture (cardiac cath), femoral hernia (medial to vein)
