The ulnar nerve (C8,T1) is the terminal branch of the MEDIAL cord — the "musician's nerve" of fine finger movement.
COURSE
• Medial cord → posterior to the medial epicondyle (the "funny bone", subcutaneous and vulnerable) → between the two heads of FCU → enters the hand SUPERFICIAL to the flexor retinaculum through the ulnar (Guyon's) canal.
